Smokey Bones recently realized that their passion for cooked meat doesn’t stop at barbecue. So what do you do when your pit masters decide they want to become full-on meat masters? For starters, you hire Dunn&Co. to cook up tip-to-toe rebrand with extra sizzle. While Bones updated its menu offerings, we got to work updating everything else.
For design we invoked the most elemental tools of meat preparation: wood, fire, sweat, grit and determination. We cooked up a whole new voice for the brand, too. Gone are the bone puns and innuendos of old, replaced by a tone that is confident, clever, and completely unashamed of the restaurant's carnivorous concerns. We brought the brand to life with a new logo, complete website overhaul, menu redesign, in-store art, and an all-new approach to their social media game. We think it’s safe to say that there’s plenty of new meat on these bones.
