Banyan Reserve Vodka is the newest offering from St. Petersburg Distillery, a maker of fine craft spirits in St. Pete, FL. It's a tribute to Florida's first banyan tree, which arrived in 1925 when Harvey Firestone gave one to Thomas Edison as a gift. These gorgeous, sprawling trees have held a special place in the hearts of Floridians ever since. Dunn&Co. crafted the brand from scratch and designed an award-winning 1920's-era label with the help of scratchboard illustrator Steven Noble. We chose a deep, dark brown and copper foil to honor the large and leathery leaves of a banyan, the youngest of which have a reddish tinge. Retailers and distributors love the concept and look, and quickly picked up Banyan Reserve for mass distribution shortly after its introduction.
