THERE’S NO BUSINESS LIKE BEST OF SHOW BUSINESS

Well, folks, it’s awards season again. It’s the time of year that has us ad professionals not-so-patiently waiting on the edge of our rolling chairs.

But oh boy, can it be fun.

On the heels of winning 10 CLIOs late last year, this year’s awards season has been equally as kind to us. First and foremost, our Tweet Tape campaign for the Tampa Bay Lightning earned our agency two wins at the One Show. Even we had to make sure we read that right. The One Show is an incredibly prestigious award program, so to have our name on that list twice is a momentous honor.

Our crew also recently attended the American Advertising Awards Fourth District ceremony, competing against all of Florida and the Caribbean. We proudly took home more awards than any other participant with 28 trophies, including five Best of Category wins and the overall Best of Show award for our Tampa Bay Lightning’s Tweet Tape campaign. As a small shop (50 people) in a big market (#12 DMA), it’s pretty special not getting lost in the crowd – but rather helping lead it.

Shall we continue?

At the Ireland-based Kinsale Shark Awards, we were one of only a handful of US agencies recognized, winning a bronze award for the Tampa Bay Lightning’s Be The Distant Thunder campaign and a silver award for our Tweet Tape campaign.

Our Lightning’s Tweet Tape campaign also earned us bronze recognition at the internationally renowned Epica Awards, which is a unique awards contest in that all judges are from the global press corps.

Additionally, Graphis awarded us Advertising gold for the Be The Distant Thunder campaign and a Design silver trophy for our Smokey Bones rebrand campaign.

Whew. Our team is still reflecting on all of that.

As we continue to build our legacy, we know upcoming and seasoned professionals alike are watching. That’s why our team takes every opportunity to continue to raise the bar for ourselves. Because at the end of the day, we are our biggest competitor.

See you this time next year, bigger and better.
