Having just completed a rebrand, Burger 21 challenged us to make it sing in the digital space by creating a website stacked and packed with as much character as their masterpiece-filled menu. It was an assignment too delicious to resist. Our first ingredient? Their new look and feel—it was filled with bold, clever iconography that cleanly communicated the variety of ingredients at the restaurant’s disposal. The blocky nature of these design elements informed the site’s layout, functionality, and parallax scrolling. Things really got cooking when we revamped the online ordering process, simplifying everything from the user journey to the number of steps to encourage a higher volume of digital purchases. Like a perfectly prepared menu, our website for B21 ensured that the only difficulty users will encounter on burger21.com is choosing which chef-inspired burger to order.
