This has been a record-breaking season for the Tampa Bay Lightning. It seems only fitting that they are making some noise off-ice as well.

The Outdoor Advertising Association of American just announced that our billboard design has been named a finalist for an OBIE Award. The ad of forward Valtteri Filppula was recognized along with some of the best outdoor ads in the country.The winning campaigns will be revealed at the OBIE Awards Show on Tuesday, May 12, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, CA.

Congratulations to the Lightning on their record-breaking home game win streak as well as the best attendance numbers in the last 12 years.

Now we all grow out our beards until the OBIE winners are announced. That’s how it works right?
