There’s a lot of award-winning talent in this town but for some reason it’s still not a big blip on the Ad World radar. We’re out to change that. Dunn&Co. wants to be for Tampa what Fallon is for Minneapolis, Crispin is for Boulder, and Martin is for the entire state of Virginia. Summer Internship

Well, well, well. If it isn’t the next big thing in advertising – applying for the Dunn&Co Summer Internship. You’ve come to the right place. Now here’s what you need to know:

This is a 12-week program that runs from May 13th until July 31st. As part of our team, you’ll be assisting with day-to-day agency operations within your department. From client briefs, to strategy, to creative concepts—we’ll be dropping you right into the thick of it. Your days will look different depending on the role you’re pursuing, but above all else you’ll be getting some of that really real world experience that will help you get to the next level.

We are offering positions in the following departments:

Account Management – Duties may include creating timelines for new projects, scheduling client meetings, taking meeting minutes, generating status reports, working with the traffic team to assign resources and more. Ideal candidates are results-driven, over-communicators, with a work ethic and spirited drive that is outpaced only by their voracious hunger to facilitate truly great work.

Integrated Media – During your internship, the Digital and Media team will show you the ropes and give you hands-on experience managing websites, apps, social, search and integrated media campaigns for our clients. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the industry, be attuned to what is going on in the world of digital, and have a curious mind when it comes to analyzing data and human psychology!

Copywriting – If you’re an ad geek whose portfolio demonstrates the ability to craft effective work and are both hungry and thirsty to build your book and career, you might be who we’re looking for. Our ideal candidate would be endlessly curious, and versed in a variety of media. Above all: you must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Cinephiles are a plus.

Design – Your duties may include photo editing and image creation, assisting fellow team members with the creation of visual content for various agency clients, and files management. A proficiency in basic design programs including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is a must. Ideal candidates should be able to think in big, provocative ideas, but be just as comfortable designing a sales aid – whatever the team needs.

Operations – This role works across all departments (account, strategy, creative, digital, social, production, media), so you’ll need to speak the languages of each team and be able to work collaboratively with a variety of personalities. Duties include supporting the Operations team and assisting in the day-to-day oversight of the internal facilitation of marketing and advertising projects. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, loves to help establish and implement necessary processes, has a passion for problem solving, and celebrates agency victories – big or small.
