Social Media Strategist
Dunn&Co. is looking for a Social Media Strategist with a head for systems, a heart for culture, and a calendar that’s color-coded down to the hour. You’re the type of person who can turn a brand’s positioning into a six-month content roadmap—and make sure every post goes live on time, on brief, and with something to say.
This isn’t a job for the faint of feed. We’re talking strategy, storytelling, spreadsheets, and scrolls. You’ll work closely with creatives and clients alike to bring thoughtful, on-brand social content to life—and ensure that it performs and evolves.
Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy: Build social strategies that translate brand positioning into content pillars, tone of voice, community management protocol, and platform-by-platform best practices. Understand how content should flex across platforms (what plays on TikTok might flop on LinkedIn—and you can explain why).
- Content Planning and Briefing: Write social briefs that are clear, inspiring, and rooted in business objectives. Plan editorial calendars based on strategic deliverables, seasonal trends, and real-time opportunities. Give constructive creative feedback that makes the work stronger, not just different.
- Project Management and Client Partnership: Act as the primary point of contact for social media clients and manage the full lifecycle of social projects. Build and maintain timelines, keeping internal teams and clients aligned (and gently nudged when needed). Steward each project with an eye on profitability, process, and progress.
- Collaboration: Partner with our Social Media Content Specialist(s) to develop creative ideas that feel smart, strategic, and on-trend.
- Scheduling and Reporting: Schedule posts, monitor engagement, and track performance across platforms. Analyze content data and translate into strategic insights and forward-looking recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in social media content creation or strategy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal—you can talk to a client or a creative with equal fluency
- Laser-sharp attention to detail and a passion for organization
- Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask without sacrificing quality
- A keen sense for internet culture and what’s culturally relevant right now, next week, and three scrolls from now

Salary Range: $40,000-$50,000
Dunn&Co is on a hybrid work schedule, and in the office 3 days a week. We are only looking for local talent, or those willing to relocate.
