Social Media Content Specialist
Dunn&Co. is on the hunt for a nimble, creative, and trend-obsessed Social Media Content Specialist—someone who can turn a content strategy into scroll-stopping creative, and keep up with the ever-evolving demands of the feed. If your phone camera roll is 90% potential Reel footage and you dream in captions, we’d love to talk.
In this role, you’ll concept, create, and publish content across a range of client brands, working alongside a cross-functional team of strategists, creatives, and media pros. Your job? Bring our clients to life online in a way that’s authentic, on-brand, and impossible to ignore.
Responsibilities:
- Content Concepting: Collaborate with strategy team to ideate platform-native content that aligns with a brand’s voice, goals, and audience. Keep a finger on the pulse of social media trends, and bring fresh, relevant ideas to the table early and often.
- Social Media Graphic Design: Create compelling, brand-aligned graphics using tools like Photoshop, Canva, and InDesign. Adapt creative across platforms and formats, with an eye for visual storytelling and clarity.
- Social Media Photography & Videography: Shoot and edit short-form videos and photos for platforms like TikTok, Reels, and Stories. You should be comfortable with in-app editing tools, filters, trending audio, and made-for-social filming techniques.
- Copywriting: Write smart, sharp, and on-brand captions and content copy—sometimes witty, sometimes heartfelt, always thumb-stopping. Understand how tone shifts across brands and platforms.
- Community Management: Monitor and respond to comments and DMs in a brand-right tone, using pre-approved voice guidelines. Identify opportunities to engage and surprise the audience in ways that build loyalty.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in social media content creation
- Proficiency with content tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Canva, Midjourney, and ChatGPT (or whatever helps you work smarter, faster, better)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- You can take feedback, juggle tasks, and manage timelines with grace
- A deep love for internet culture and fluency in what’s trending, what’s tired, and what’s about to blow up
Bonus Points if:
- You’ve worked at an agency and can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- You keep up with the latest brand campaigns and have opinions (good ones)
- You’ve built your own social presence or brand for fun and can show your work
Salary Range: $40,000-$50,000
Dunn&Co is on a hybrid work schedule, and in the office 3 days a week. We are only looking for local talent, or those willing to relocate.
