On Friday afternoon Troy called everyone up to the kitchen. With a bottle of Champagne, an ice cream cake and a giant novelty key in hand. One of two things happened, he stole the key to the city or the deal went through to buy the building.
We were all relived and excited to hear that Troy had officially bought the Corina Building. The 1893 Cigar Factory has been our home for the past 12 years. This is where we create, laugh, play, learn and live.
Troy’s vision for the factory includes creating more open space; expanding its production facilities; and adding lounges, a workout area and access to a green roof, while preserving the era in which the building was built.
There have been a lot of great memories in this building, and there will be a lot more. The amount of enthusiasm and volunteers to help tear down walls was both surprising and slightly terrifying! Stay tuned for HGTV – esque Dunn&Co. blog updates.
