The Tampa Bay Rowdies and Dunn&Co. today announce a partnership in which the full-service advertising and marketing firm will work as the professional soccer team’s agency of record. Dunn&Co.’s efforts will focus on developing the Rowdies brand around the identity of its fans and the Tampa Bay community, as well as forging deeper relationships with area businesses.

The Tampa Bay Rowdies were born in 1975 as Tampa Bay’s first-ever professional sports franchise. From 1975-1984, the Rowdies were one of the most successful teams in the original NASL, winning the Soccer Bowl Championship in 1975 and reaching the finals in both 1978 and 1979. The Rowdies featured iconic players such as Rodney Marsh, Derek Smethurst and Steve Wegerle, while winning over the hearts of the people of Tampa Bay and creating an internationally recognized brand.
