Note: This medical writing position focuses on the creation of advertising content for HCPs and some, patient-facing content. The writer will not need to create content for clinical development, medical affairs, or other similar use cases. Prior experience creating HCP-facing advertising materials with an advertising agency is required.

Dunn&Co. has an immediate opening for a Medical Writer within its DunnHealth division. This role can be based remotely or work with our team in-person in Tampa Bay. We will also consider freelance/contract arrangements.
We are seeking a talented Medical Writer to join our team, focusing on the development of promotional materials primarily targeted at HCPs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong scientific background, exceptional writing and editing skills, a keen eye for detail when working with medical references, the ability to advise and influence clients throughout the regulatory review process, and a knack for translating complex medical information into clear, compelling content that aligns with our clients’ marketing strategies.
Along the way, you will collaborate with our cross-functional team of strategists, writers, designers, and account professionals who are kind, humble, and committed to producing great work for our clients.
Responsibilities:
You will serve as an internal subject matter expert on assigned products and brands, taking the lead on content development from messaging creation to asset development and regulatory review. Whether working as the lead writer or supporting another writer as an editor, you bring strong scientific expertise and the ability to align the available claims and medical references with our messaging goals while collaborating with both internal teams and client reviewers.
