DunnHealth is looking for an Associate Creative Director / Copywriter. This role can be based in our Tampa Bay office or work remotely. We will also consider contract and freelance arrangements.
If you’re reading this, you probably already know what we’re looking for in a good Copywriter ACD. Award-winning work, presentation skills, the ability to appeal to even the most attention-challenged consumer in three words or less.
But this isn’t just regular advertising. It’s healthcare advertising. And while some creatives read those two words and think “wallpaper,” we believe that breakthrough healthcare advertising has to be anything but.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Dunn&Co. account teams, clients, creative directors, art directors, cinematographers, fellow copywriters and designers to concept campaigns, develop brand strategies and write effective, engaging copy for our clients.
- Be comfortable and confident working on a wide variety of creative media – from snappy digital campaigns to sales presentations to a new patient welcome kit – and everything in between.
- Flex between a wide range of writing styles – from big “B” branding in a concepting round to more detailed copy for a sell sheet.
- Create and manage concept and deliverable presentations for client meetings.
- Present creative work to clients persuasively and convincingly in collaboration with other team members.
- Incorporate client and account team feedback, comments and changes while adhering to timelines, due dates and goals
- Work on a wide range of assignments, not just the ones that personally excite you. In other words, no divas or crusaders.
Qualifications:
- Have 6+ years’ agency copywriting experience; or ability to effectively lie about said experience, with a specialty in healthcare advertising.
- Advanced healthcare writing experience with prior experience writing for HCP audiences
- Skilled at partnering with creative peers
- Confident and capable at delivering client presentations
- Skilled at working with internal and external collaborators in live feedback and review sessions to progress the work
- Comfortable in a wide range of healthcare advertising mediums from more technical to more conceptual and consumer-esque.
- Have a great portfolio of creative work
- Be able to articulate project feasibility to account management and clients.
- Strong attention to detail, schedule management, version control and other skills usually not attributed to creative people.
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment while functioning as a member of a highly collaborative team.
- Be nice.
