DunnHealth is looking for a Senior Strategist. This role can be based remotely or work with our team in-person in Tampa Bay.
We are seeking a talented healthcare content strategist to join our team at DunnHealth. We are looking for someone with previous ad agency strategy and HCP marketing experience who is excited about joining a deeply-rooted creative culture, committed to using their original thinking to differentiate in the healthcare space, and skilled in developing compelling strategic client presentations.
Responsibilities:
You will lead the day-to-day strategic thinking for assigned clients, partnering closely with our director of strategy to determine the optimal project approach for given client needs and ultimately leading project execution from end to end.
- Become a trusted strategic partner to internal account leads and external client contacts for assigned business areas.
- Lead the execution of strategy projects including but not limited to competitive auditing, stakeholder interviews, workshop facilitation, value proposition creation, message testing, and insight generation with minimal oversight.
- Provide strategic direction to writers and designers for creative projects that ladder up to a previously established strategic direction with little to no oversight
- Prepare creative briefs that align with client business strategy yet reveal fresh insights about the target audience that lead to a clear strategic direction for creative deliverables
- Brief copywriters and designers, reviewing their work throughout the development process to ensure it is in alignment with the intended strategic direction and providing feedback.
- Present ideas persuasively and respond to client questions with a smart, thoughtful point of view
- Develop compelling, highly visual presentations ranging from strategic POVs, creative concept presentations, competitive analyses, and more
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative research and develop subsequent client presentations of research findings
- Contribute to channel and tactical plans to ensure that the strategic intent of the positioning is achieved
Skillset:
- Awareness and command of the unique vocabulary and mindset that is the world of healthcare, medical products and pharma
- Strong writing skills
- Understanding of medical claims and referencing
- The analytical capability and objectivity to develop evidence-based conclusions
- Ability to
- Quickly gather, absorb, synthesize and report on large, diverse data sets (qual and quant)
- Integrate qual & quant learning to develop brand and communications strategies
- Persuasively present ideas and insights
- Partner effectively with both clients and agency team members, including account, creative, medical/clinical, digital/channel planning, analytics, media and more.
- Evaluate creative through a strategic lens, and deliver those evaluations constructively and helpfully to the creative team
- Visualize strategic thought in expressive presentations, delivered with confidence and authority
- Develop, run and move results forward during client-facing workshops
Qualifications:
- Experience marketing to HCPs
- Previous experience as a Senior Strategist or above at an advertising agency.
- 5 – 10 years of combined advertising agency experience.
